I
started the music thing when I was nine years old, banging
like a little "Mozart" on my mom's piano. After
learning to play a few pop songs, I started "composing"
my own sounds. As
a teenager, I was heavily influenced by the music of P-Funk,
Prince, folk and classical music as well as British new
wave and punk rock.
In college, psychedelic and more punk rock grabbed me, heavily
influencing my future bands' musical styles; and later,
creating a new music genre which I called "Soulternative"
music. I've composed nearly 400 songs, recently came out
with a critically acclaimed album and will be starting a
band in the near future and... after all these years...
my mom still covers her ears.
